Short Summary & Key Responsibilities of the role:

As Bartender you will ensure that all guests are served to the company standard in the Park Bar, Lounge or Restaurant areas, as well as support the team during Events, such as weddings, party nights etc, within our two Function Room Bar’s.  You will ensure that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times within all food and beverage areas.  The position requires a flexible approach to a variety of shift patterns and includes morning shifts, late evening and weekend shifts.  A minimum age of 18 is required due to bar work.

Short Summary & Key Responsibilities of the role:

Ufford Park Spa is looking for a qualified Beauty Therapist to join our expanding team, to undertake a wide range of beauty treatments offered to new and existing clients, as well as our hotel guests and members.  You will be friendly, organised, have attention to detail, be a team player, and be highly skilled with a passion for beauty therapy.  We work with a variety of top brands including Temple Spa, Jessica, Mii Make Up and Novalash.  This role will involve some weekend and evening work. If you have a minimum of a Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification (or equivalent) and are open to learning new skills and treatment routines then we would like to hear from you.

Salary: £22,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The ideal candidate will be personable and motivated. You must be able to work as part of a busy team and as an individual, and have high standards of service and cleanliness. This role is full time and will require evening, weekend ,bank holidays on a shift basis. We pride ourselves on our speedy and knowledgeable service, along with the atmosphere created by our team. Key Responsibilities of the role:

To provide excellent back up to the Head Chef & Senior Sous Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking in the absence of the Head Chef and senior Chefs.

To provide meal quality and consistency by following designated recipes and contribute to menus.

To take an active part in the training & development of Commis Chef’s, Trainee Chefs & Kitchen Assistants.

To be responsible and accountable for running the kitchen in the Head Chef’s or Senior Sous Chef’s absence during the shift.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Ufford Park Ltd are looking for an Events Porter to assist the Events Team with the effective set up and delivery of functions and events, such as weddings, wakes, business meetings, party nights etc. This position is vital to the structure of the hotel in that it calls for the skills of someone who can through sound knowledge, training and attention to detail, along with a naturally high aspiration for exacting standards, achieve the set goals and standards required by the directors and the expectations of our customers.  A minimum age of 18 is required for this role as bar work will be involved.

Ufford Park is looking for a fully qualified part-time Greenkeeper to help maintain the golf course and its high standards within the golfing and hotel industry.  The successful candidate will assist in the everyday running and maintenance of the golf course.  Key responsibilities include cutting & treatments of the tee’s, fairways, rough and greens. Course projects/modifications such as building of tee’s, restructuring and removal of hazards as well as maintenance and repair to the course and its surroundings

The objective is the pursuit of excellence in meeting the needs of all potential customers

As our Head Receptionist, your most important role is leading and motivating a team of Reception staff to ensure they’re giving the best customer service possible in a busy hotel environment. Working as part of a team and following instruction from the Accommodation Revenue Manager and Hotel Manager

to provide a friendly, efficient and proactive customer service to all hotel guests.

The following requirements and tasks are also an essential part of the role:

  • Able to work flexible shifts on a standard shift pattern: 7am to 3pm and 2.30pm to 10.30pm, working 5 days out of 7 each week to include covering weekends and Bank Holidays.
  • To check in and check out guests
  • To have a good understanding and knowledge of all the hotel’s facilities
  • Answering calls, directing and handling enquiries and taking reservations as necessary.
  • Taking Payments
  • To up-sell all of the facilities, to maximise revenue for the hotel, at the same time as enhancing the guest experience
  • Perform any other assigned reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned or as requested by line managers including Duty Management cover.
  • Planning ahead to anticipate customer needs as well as the ability to react to changing circumstances is an essential part of the role.
  • The role requires the ability to motivate and inspire the Reception Team by leading from the front and by example.

Ufford Park Ltd is looking for a Health Club & Spa Manager to manage our Health Club and Spa, by handling the daily operations, such as hiring, training, and scheduling staff members, planning fitness programming, checking exercise equipment, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the Health Club and Spa.  The Health Club and Spa currently has in the region of 1000 members, up to 7 spa treatment rooms and a Thermal Suite, all situated in a 90 bedroom hotel. The Health Club & Spa Manager will be responsible for ensuring top quality customer service is offered to all members and guests at all times, and will also have the responsibility of attracting and retaining new and existing members.
