Lockdown 2.0: A warm welcome back... 

"In light of the latest Government announcement, we are pleased to reopen Ufford Park Woodbridge from Wednesday 2nd December. 

We want to reassure you that we are focused round-the-clock on the health and safety of all our guests, residents and employees, without compromising the high standards and quality of your experience, that you have come to know and expect in your visit to us.

Hotel: Our hotel is taking bookings from 2nd December onwards and stays are available to those booking from the same household, or support bubble. Reservations can be made via our website or by calling 01394 383555.

The Park Bar and Restaurant: Festivities maybe a little different this year, but Christmas is definitely not cancelled...
Our doors will once again reopen next Wednesday 2nd December and we cannot wait to safely welcome you all back. 

The Park Bar: We are open to everyone and dog-friendly too. Take a walk around our 2 mile trim trail and join us in the warm for a bite to eat from our NEW bar snack menu, or why not get into the festive spirit with some mulled wine alongside your meal.

The Park Restaurant:
Throughout December, we will be serving our Festive lunch and dinner menu, as well as our Festive Afternoon Tea - booking and pre-payment is essential for both by calling 01394 383555.

Golf: We are currently taking bookings for members as priority in the first week, however, any gaps available, we will of course open up to everyone via our online booking system, or by calling 01394 382836. If you are looking to use the Driving Range, please just turn up. Tier 2 'bubble' restrictions apply. 

Health Club / Spa: The good news is, despite what tier system we may change to, these facilities are now able to remain open. Tier 2 'bubble' restrictions apply. 

Please note the hotel is NOT accepting cash at the present time and all payments must be via card.

We've never been more grateful than the support we have seen from our members and loyal customers during 2020. Thank you for doing your utmost to support us between both lockdowns. 

A HUGE thank you also goes to ALL of our staff who have worked tirelessly over the last few months, under some tough conditions, especially doing the summer, to you all as safe as possible.

We couldn’t have survived over the last few months without each and every one of you!

We have reviewed all of our procedures to ensure the safety of our guests and our team is at the forefront of everything we do. Here are just a few of the measures that we have put in place:

Although things may look a little different when you visit us again, our friendly team will be on hand to ensure we still offer that fantastic service and the enjoyable experience you have come to expect.  As always, the safety of our visitors and staff is priority, so our team have worked tirelessly over the last few months to make sure all the steps are in place to ensure this continues to be the case.

Will I lose my deposit if restrictions mean by event cannot take place?

Of course not. We will transfer it to your new postponed date. 

Can I come and look around to see Ufford Park?

Yes, you are able to book an appointment and view our facilities. We are currently thinking of new ways to show you our superb function rooms at these strange times, should you wish not to visit us under the current circumstances.

I am planning a future event. Can I still ask questions and get a quote, even if I don't know a date yet?

Of course. Send your questions to and we will look forward to advising you on a potential new booking.

Will we be able to attend large events soon?

Unfortunately, we don't know what is around the corner regarding large public gatherings, however, we are thinking of new ideas all the time. If you have an idea of an event you would like to see, or that you think would be great in these uncertain times, please share them with us.

What is happening to future events?

We are constantly keeping up to date with the Government guidelines and will be contacting people with bookings in date order. 

We are experiencing a high volume of emails, so we appreciate your patience at this challenging time and ask that you only email if you have an urgent enquiry regarding an imminent reservation.


Future hotel bookings for 2nd December onwards can be made easily online. We promise to be flexible with future bookings made DIRECT with Ufford Park, either online, or by emailing 

Book with confidence...

We want you to be able to book without having to worry about what will happen if your holiday has to be cancelled. We have temporarily waived the standard cancellation policy meaning that you are protected if the following applies:

  1. The Government ban travel out of your area, or into Suffolk
  2. Overnight stays are not permitted
  3. The ‘rule of 6’ makes your holiday impossible

In any of these cases, you will have the following options: 

  1. Move your booking. This can be for any stay up to 12 months ahead. It can be for a like for like booking, or something different (subject to availability). The price you pay may be higher or lower depending on the dates and time of year. If higher, you can simply pay the difference. If lower, you will be refunded the difference. There will be no admin fee or other charges.
  2. Take a credit note. This is ideal if you know you still want to come to Suffolk, but are unsure of dates.
  3. Have a refund. We will happily refund the full amount you have paid for your holiday, including the deposit. 

We reserve the right to make changes to the temporary policy waiver but if we do so, we will give you a minimum of four weeks’ notice. Cancellations for other reasons are according to our standard Terms and Conditions.

If you booked your reservation via a third party (e.g., Spa Breaks, Golf Breaks and others), please contact them directly for assistance.

All gift vouchers with an expiry date between 1st April and 30th August 2020 will be automatically extended to 31st January 2021.
