Coronavirus update

Lockdown 3.0: A temporary goodbye...

"In light of the latest Government announcement, it is with a heavy heart, once again we have to temporarily close our doors to the hotel (for Leisure guests), Ufford Park Golf Club, The Park Bar and Restaurant and our Health Club and Spa until further notice.

HOTEL: Our hotel will remain open to those where it is essential for work purposes; if we act as someone’s main residence; where someone cannot return home; or to support the homeless.

Those of you with future bookings at Ufford Park, our teams will be in touch with you all in due course, but we kindly ask for your patience in the meantime.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your understanding and support throughout this year, especially to those of you that physically came to visit us. Being a relatively small and independent family business, we couldn’t have made it through this year without each and every one of you.

As a business, we believe we have done everything that we possibly could to ensure Ufford Park is as COVID-secure as possible and to keep our members, guests and staff safe, but we understand the necessary action the Government has had to take.

The journey ahead for us all still won’t be easy, but I am positive we can get through it together. I have been so proud to see how well my team – The Ufford Park Family – have pulled together through this unpredictable year, and I am very optimistic that Ufford Park will come out the other side of this even stronger!

In the meantime, stay safe and we hope to see you soon. Please do keep an eye on our social media channels and website for our latest updates."

Tarnia Robertson

Managing Director

We have reviewed all of our procedures to ensure the safety of our guests and our team is at the forefront of everything we do. Here are just a few of the measures that we have put in place:

IN LIGHT OF THE LATEST GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCEMENT, THE PARK BAR AND RESTAURANT WILL BE CLOSED FROM 00:01am ON SATURDAY 26th DECEMBER.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Although things may look a little different when you visit us again, our friendly team will be on hand to ensure we still offer that fantastic service and the enjoyable experience you have come to expect.  As always, the safety of our visitors and staff is priority, so our team have worked tirelessly over the last few months to make sure all the steps are in place to ensure this continues to be the case.

On arrival, you will be asked to 'check-in' using the NHS COVID-19 Track and Trace app and we operate a cashless policy.

Will I lose my deposit if restrictions mean by event cannot take place?

Of course not. We will transfer it to your new postponed date.

Can I come and look around to see Ufford Park?

Yes, you are able to book an appointment and view our facilities. We are currently thinking of new ways to show you our superb function rooms at these strange times, should you wish not to visit us under the current circumstances.

I am planning a future event. Can I still ask questions and get a quote, even if I don't know a date yet?

Of course. Send your questions to events@uffordpark.co.uk and we will look forward to advising you on a potential new booking.

Will we be able to attend large events soon?

Unfortunately, we don't know what is around the corner regarding large public gatherings, however, we are thinking of new ideas all the time. If you have an idea of an event you would like to see, or that you think would be great in these uncertain times, please share them with us.

What is happening to future events?

We are constantly keeping up to date with the Government guidelines and will be contacting people with bookings in date order.

In light of the latest Government announcement, our hotel will close from 00:01am on Saturday 26th December.  If you had a booking with us in January, our team are busy trying to contact you all to rearrange your stay with us.

We are experiencing a high volume of emails, so we appreciate your patience at this challenging time. We ask that you only email us if you have an urgent enquiry regarding an imminent reservation.

Book with confidence...

We want you to be able to book without having to worry about what will happen if your holiday has to be cancelled. We have temporarily waived the standard cancellation policy meaning that you are protected if the following applies:

  1. The Government ban travel out of your area, or into Suffolk
  2. Overnight stays are not permitted
  3. The ‘rule of 6’ makes your holiday impossible

In any of these cases, you will have the following options:

  1. Move your booking. This can be for any stay up to 12 months ahead. It can be for a like for like booking, or something different (subject to availability). The price you pay may be higher or lower depending on the dates and time of year. If higher, you can simply pay the difference. If lower, you will be refunded the difference. There will be no admin fee or other charges.
  2. Take a credit note. This is ideal if you know you still want to come to Suffolk, but are unsure of dates.
  3. Have a refund. We will happily refund the full amount you have paid for your holiday, including the deposit.

We reserve the right to make changes to the temporary policy waiver but if we do so, we will give you a minimum of four weeks’ notice. Cancellations for other reasons are according to our standard Terms and Conditions.

If you booked your reservation via a third party (e.g. Bookings.com, Spa Breaks, Golf Breaks and others), please contact them directly for assistance.

All gift vouchers with an expiry date between 1st April and 31st December 2020 will be automatically extended to 31st January 2021.
