5 good reasons to let us take care of your Christmas
Christmas should be a time of goodwill, family enjoyment and fun for all. Unfortunately it can get a bit hectic and somebody gets stuck in the kitchen doing all the preparation. How much better to let us take care of your Christmas, here are five reasons why.
Reason 1: Christmas should be fun for everyone
Getting up at 7am to put in the turkey; running out of sausage meat for the stuffing; trying to accommodate your niece’s sudden decision to be a vegetarian! Managing the Christmas lunch/dinner in an ideal world should be shared among the family but all too often it ends up being mum or dad juggling the task of preparing the Christmas feast and Ufford Park will do the heavy lifting for you. This year’s Christmas Day lunch has already proved so popular we’re sold out but it’s certainly worth putting a date in your diary to book early with us next year!
Reason 2: You work and have little time
If you are a busy working family, fitting in the food shopping for Christmas can be an absolute nightmare. Battling the crowds and finding the only turkeys left are frozen and take until Christmas Day to defrost are problems you can avoid. Christmas Day lunch at Ufford Park has already sold out but we would be delighted to see you on the 26th so check out our Boxing Day menu too.
Reason 3; Your middle name is NOT Heston!
OK, so maybe your culinary skills are a bit, shall we say, challenged? Remember last Christmas? Burnt mince pies are not meant to be dunked, but at least that made them edible! If the thought of stuffing that turkey, or trying your hand at a passable nut roast fills you with dread, then let us take the strain. Our experienced, well-trained chefs place great emphasis on quality local ingredients, always insisting on free-range eggs, and, wherever possible, organically grown fruit and vegetables, beef, lamb, chicken, pork and game. They have many years of experience in creating the perfect Christmas food.
Reason 4: You want to celebrate Christmas with a party but you have no room in your house
Christmas season is party season and a great excuse to put on the glitz and dance the night away. Doing that in your own home can mean a not so fun day after clearing up the party mess. Come and celebrate in a magical world of Narnia instead. Our themed Christmas party nights run from Friday 27th November to Saturday 19th December with a New Year extra party on Saturday 9th January 2016.
Reason 5: You want to celebrate Christmas in style
Christmas is definitely a time to spend with loved ones but sometimes while home may be where the heart is, but away is where the special moments can be created. If you want a Christmas to remember then take advantage of the glorious surroundings of Ufford Park and make a Christmas break of it. No worries about cooking, cleaning or entertainment - we have the whole package.
