Ufford Park Woodbridge awarded the highest food hygiene rating
The scores on the doors...
The Food Hygiene scheme is run by local authorities in England, Wales and Northern Ireland in partnership with the Food Standards Agency. Each business is given a ‘hygiene rating’ when it is inspected by a food safety officer from the business’s local authority. The hygiene rating shows how closely the business is meeting the requirements of food hygiene law.
This autumn we were inspected by the Council and were awarded the highest possible rating of 5 which we are absolutely delighted with. Not only do we pride ourselves on serving a wide selection of good food with locally sourced, fresh products, it also shows that our commitment to food hygiene is of the utmost importance. Our kitchen staff works very hard to ensure that we meet and maintain the highest standard possible.
Our Park Restaurant benefits from fantastic views over the golf course and the beautiful Suffolk countryside and offers a wide selection of locally sourced seasonal ingredients. We particularly recommend Sunday lunch, served every Sunday from 12 noon. The Meeting Place Bar is open every day and offers a wide selection of food, served between 10am and 9:30pm daily.
